Bridal Dress Fittings
Duration: Plan for approximately one hour.
What to Bring: Please bring the shoes you’ll be wearing for the event, as well as any underpinnings like bras and slips. Bringing these items to your first appointment ensures the best fit for your dress or formalwear.Special Occasion and Bridesmaid Dress Fittings
Duration: These fittings usually take around thirty minutes.
What to Bring: Similar to wedding gown fittings, please bring the shoes and any necessary undergarments.During Your Fitting
Pinning for Perfect Fit: Your dress will be carefully pinned to achieve the best fit.
Bustle Options: For dresses with trains, we’ll show you several options for bustles and provide recommendations.
Steaming: We will steam your dress to help eliminate wrinkles.Payment and Fees
We'll go over all fees during your fitting. Payment options will be discussed (cash, credit card, checks accepted but must clear prior to releasing dress).

Whether you're a bride preparing for your big day or a bridesmaid seeking the perfect fit, we’re happy to help.Our services include hemming, resizing, adjusting sleeves, altering shoulders, taking in or letting out sides, creating beautiful bustles, adding bra cups, and shortening straps. Each alteration is tailored to the specific fabric and design of your dress, ensuring it looks and feels perfect.Typically, bridal alterations range from $400 to $800, depending on the complexity and details of the gown. Bridesmaid and mother of the bride alterations usually range from $55 to $200. During your initial consultation, we'll go over the pricing to ensure everything is clear and agreed upon.
For the best experience, we recommend scheduling your bridal alterations as soon as you choose your dress or formalwear. While we understand that many brides and bridesmaids plan to lose weight, take trips, and plan events, it’s crucial not to wait until the last minute to schedule your fitting. Our appointments fill up quickly, and to ensure the most convenient timing for you, it’s best to schedule at least 4-6 months before your event.

Welcome, I’m Gina Nachreiner, and sewing has been part of my life since I was eleven years old. I grew up watching both of my grandmothers and my mother create beautiful garments with their hands, and I was instantly captivated. I still remember the magic of seeing my mom sew new dresses for my sister and me, and watching my grandmother skillfully transform adult clothing into perfectly sized outfits for children.My grandmother worked at Ben Franklin, sewing not only her own wardrobe but also the store’s display pieces. She even made my mother’s wedding dress, passing down her talent, patience, and love for the craft through generations. I feel incredibly grateful to continue that legacy today.When I’m not in my studio, you’ll find me giving back through my church, spending time with my husband and children, and soaking up every moment with my grandchildren.

That inspiration led to the creation of my jewelry and accessory line, which has become a joyful extension of my creativity and a wonderful way to help my clients achieve a truly cohesive look.There is nothing I love more than working with brides during one of the happiest seasons of their lives. My goal is always to bring each vision to life while keeping the experience personal, stress-free, and accessible. For over 20 years, I have been altering and designing gowns, as well as creating custom veils, hairpieces, and accessories.When you step into my studio, my focus is always on what can be done.
